This site is operated by Friends of Kristina, the official campaign committee for Kristina Soltys's candidacy for Washington State Senate in the 47th Legislative District. Use of this site is governed by applicable federal and Washington State law.
SMS Text Messaging
By providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Friends of Kristina, you consent to receive automated recurring SMS/MMS messages, including campaign alerts, donation requests, event updates, and other important campaign information.
No purchase or donation is necessary to receive text messages, and no consent to receive text messages is required to make a contribution. SMS information is never rented, sold, or shared with third parties.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
Mobile Messaging Program Consent
By signing up for our Mobile Messaging Program, you consent to receive the following types of text messages from Friends of Kristina:
- Polling/Voting Text Messages: Such as election reminders and opinion polls.
- Public Service Announcement Text Messages: Including legislative updates, member updates, and voter education.
Opt-In Methods
- Completing a sign-up form on our website and checking the text message consent box.
- Providing explicit consent in any other manner as indicated by Friends of Kristina.
Message Terms
- Messages may be sent using an autodialer or similar technology.
- Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with the Program.
- Standard message and data rates may apply.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
STOP Command
To stop receiving messages, text STOP at any time. You will receive a confirmation text confirming you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from the Program unless you opt back in.
HELP Command
For help, text HELP or contact us at kristina@kristinaforsenate.com. You will receive instructions on how to use the service.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Email Communications
By subscribing to receive email updates from Friends of Kristina, you consent to receive automated recurring email messages including campaign news, donation requests, event invitations, and volunteer opportunities. We send emails through Mailchimp. [Note: Confirm email platform before launch.]
Subscribers may receive multiple messages per week. We do not charge for these services; however, your internet service provider's standard rates may apply. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email or by contacting us at kristina@kristinaforsenate.com.
Contributions & Donations
Online contributions to Friends of Kristina are processed by Anedot (anedot.com). By contributing through our donation page, you agree to their terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
You must be 18 years of age or older to make a contribution. Processing fees may apply. Anedot processes transactions as final; however, Friends of Kristina may issue refunds at its discretion or as required by applicable campaign finance law, including for contributions that exceed legal limits or are from prohibited sources.
Contributions to Friends of Kristina are subject to Washington State and federal campaign finance law. By making a contribution, you represent that:
- You are a United States citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident
- The contribution is made from your own personal funds and is not being reimbursed by another person or entity
- You are not a foreign national prohibited from making contributions in connection with U.S. elections
- You are not a federal contractor making this contribution in connection with a federal election
- The information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
Contributions are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. All contributions are subject to applicable contribution limits under state and federal law. Friends of Kristina reserves the right to refund any contribution it determines, in its sole discretion, it is unable to accept.
You are solely responsible for maintaining records of your contributions for tax and any other purposes. We encourage you to consult a legal or tax professional regarding any questions about contribution rules or tax implications.
